Großes Haus

Lashing out verbosely while vamping up their egos at the same time: This is something that Alice and Edgar excel at. Isolated from the outside world on a quarantine-island, the couple gets caught up continually in reckless games between self-assertion and destruction, while death draws near – and amidst it all: Kurt, Edgar’s former best friend and Alice’s cousin. His presence as a spectator, judge and pawn lends new momentum to the pair’s trench warfare. Ultimately, everyone’s belligerence escalates into a free-for-all endgame: absurdly comical attempts to delay one’s own decay as well as the inevitably approaching end of an obsolete world.
