Michael Meyer-Resende

Michael Meyer-Resende is the co-founder and Executive Director of the non-partisan NGO Democracy Reporting International (DRI), which has supported Ukrainian democracy since 2014 and has an office in Kyiv. He is a lawyer by background and worked in the OSCE, the EU and the BBC before becoming a civic activist, founding DRI. Michael worked in more than 50 countries on democracy and regularly publishes articles in the media (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Die Zeit, Politico). He is a regular columnist of the EUobserver.
